Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age more than 18 years admitted to ICU

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Admission for less than 24 hrs in ICU. Death within 48hrs of ICU admission. Admitted as a part of exclusive palliative care/ end of life care. Suspected or confirmed brain death.

MeasureTime frame
To assess the impact of the checklist intervention on the incidence of major adverse events (MAEs) in the ICU. Timepoint: Daily During ICU morning rounds till patient is in ICU meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria at 0 day, 1week, 4week. Total MAEs at the time of discharge or death from ICU.

Evaluation of the effect of the checklist on length of ICU stay. Evaluation of the effect of the checklist on length of Hospital stay. Evaluation of the effect of the checklist on use of central venous catheters (CVC days/ 100 patients days).
