Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All primi and multipara who have undergone normal vaginal delivery with episiotomy wound

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Systemic disorders in pregnancy like Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, impaired thyroid functions. 2.Patients with HIV, HBsAg, VDRL will be excluded. 3.History of impaired wound healing. 4.Patient with third degree and fourth degree perineal tears.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in severity of pain and proper wound approximation.Timepoint: Day 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then on 15th day after normal vaginal delivery with episiotomy.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Healing of episiotomy wound.Timepoint: 15th day
