Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects should have biological parents. 2. Subjects should be above 18 years of age 3. Both mother and father should accompany their ward. 4. Offspring and their parents should be non-syndromic.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who are affected by any medical condition that is recognized to influence tooth size and morphology. 2. Subjects with previous history of surgical or orthodontic treatment. 3. Pregnant women. 4. Standardized Lateral Cephalogram films of poor quality.

Predictability of skeletal, dentoalveolar & soft tissue parameters since they are inherited from parents to offspring.Timepoint: 6 months

MeasureTime frame
Predictability of skeletal, dentoalveolar & soft tissue parameters since they are inherited from parents to offspring. Inheritance of craniofacial characteristics from parents (either father or mother) to their offspring (male or female) Scope of further studies & role of genetics in influencing inheritance of craniofacial characteristics. Timepoint: 6 months
