Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed case of primary insomnia 2.Age group between 18-60 years 3.Subjects irrespective of gender and socio-economic status 4.Subjects who are ready to take part in the study with their consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Use of substance with psychotrophic effects or properties is known to affect sleep wake cycle. 2.Subjects with secondary causes like breathing related sleep disorders, psychaitric related sleep disorder,sleep walking disorder. 3.Females who are lactating or who are pregnant. 4.Night shift workers and individuals who nap three or more times over the preceeding month.
