Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with classical and cardinal signs and symptoms of metabolic syndrome Sthaulya Waist circumference in males equals or more than 90cm and in females equals or more than 80cm Blood pressure equals or more than 130/85mmHg or specific medications Triglycerides equal or more than 150mg/dl Low HDL Cholesterol less than 40mg/dl in males and less than 50mg/dl in females Fasting plasma glucose equal or more than 100mg/dl or specific medication or previously diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previously diagnosed type 1 diabetes mellitus Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients on insulin therapy Fasting blood glucose equal or more than 140mg/dl and postprandial blood glucose equal or more than 200mg/dl Patients with BMI less than 25Kg//m2 and more than 30Kg/m2 Patients with malignant hypertension with complications and blood pressure equal or more than 160/100mmHg Other illness like TB cancer secondary DM genetic disorders obese and hypertensive with major complications, pregnant woman and lactating mother. Subjects on prolonged glucocorticoid therapy
