Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers willing to participate in a longitudinal serosurvey among 1080 rural and 1080 urban participants to estimate the seroincidence of Vibrio cholerae in the community. All individuals above the age of 15 years from ~20,000 families in urban areas and all families from rural areas (three or four villages of Kaniyambadi block bordering Jawadhi hills) where wastewater surveillance is implemented for estimating the burden of pulmonary tuberculosis and drug-resistant tuberculosis.

Exclusion criteria: If the participants is not willing to participate in the study. Refuse to provide consent.

Detection rates of avian influenza virus - Waste water & samples from poultry markets.Timepoint: Fortnightly - 50 sampling location including 25 waste water sampling locations and 25 from poultry markets (20 urban & five rural areas in each) for 32 months;Detection rates of Vibrio cholerae - Waste water surveillance.Timepoint: Fortnightly - 25 waste water sampling locations (20 urban & five rural) for 32 months;Seroincidence for cholera - Dried blood spots.Timepoint: 3 time points; baseline, 4-6 months, 10-12 months. Cohort of 1080 participants from rural and urban area;Detection rates of MTBC, and TB AMR genes - Waste water surveillance.Timepoint: Fortnightly - 25 waste water sampling locations (20 urban & five rural) for 32 months;Prevalence of PTB, MDR-TB, and XDR TB in the community - Symptom screening & Sputum testing.Timepoint: Individuals above 15 years from ~20,000 families from urban areas and all families in the rural villages. All individuals screened positive for their symptom will be sputum tested
