Intervention1: Patients receiving intravenous dexmedetomidine: we will give intravenous dexmedetomidine 1mcg/kg as loading dose after induction of anaesthesia over 10 minutes followed by o.5mcg/kg/hr

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-55 years if either sex undergoing laproscopic cholecystectomy American society of Anaesthesiologists grade 1 and 2 Duration of surgery less than 2 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients giving refusal for written consent Patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or dexmedetomidine Hyperactive airway disorder Opioid or alcohol addiction Patients taking NSAIDS or any other analgesics Pregnant and morbidly obese patients Neurological and psychiatric disorder Coagulation disorder Renal and hepatic insufficiency Patients with chronic pain
