Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: RESIDENT: Junior Residents pursuing MD Anaesthesiology under the Department of Anaesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Critical Care, AIIMS, New Delhi within the first three months of their joining MD Anaesthesiology training. PATIENT : 1.Aged 18-65 years. 2.ASA physical status ? and ?. 3.BMI
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: PATIENT: 1.Patients at a high risk for aspiration. 2.Patients with anticipated difficult airway (Mallampatti grade IV,Mentohoid distance[MHD] 42cm), Obese(body mass index >30kg/m2), limited mouth opening( 3.History of difficult intubation. 4.Emergency Procedure. 5.Patient with lung disease,oral or faciomaxillary pathology 6.Patient with upper airway anomaly. RESIDENT: 1.Residents who, prior to joining MD Anaesthesiology training, have had anaesthesia work experience, or previous experience with laryngoscopy and intubation in any setting. 2.Residents who have performed more than 40 successful intubations.
