Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Partial thickness burns patients between 20 to 60 years of age. Patients having single burn wound only. Burn wound size less than 10 10cm. Recently burn within 48 hours. Upper and lower extremity of body only.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having burns and suffering from skin diseases and lesions. Burns due to chemical, electricity and radiation. Patients with known case of uncontrolled DM, Coagulopathies, bleeding disorders and cutaneous manifestations of other illness. Patients with immunocompromised status.

1) To review detail about the Aganidagdha Vrana according to referance in Sushrut Samhita. 2) To asses improvement by signs and gradation of assessment criteria. 3) To asses probable mode of action of Kutherakadi Yog (ocimum basilicum). 4) To relieve signs and symptoms of patient. 5) To observe effect of Kutherakadi yog (ocimum basilicum) in 30 days.Timepoint: 30 days
