Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients willing to agree for informed consent Patients presenting with classical clinical features of Madhumeha Treated patients with Ayurvedic and Allopathic oral anti diabetic medicines. Diabetic patients having FBS more than and equal to 126mg/100 ml of blood and less than and equal to 220mg/100 ml of blood PPBS more than & equal to 160mg/100ml of blood and less than and equal to 280mg/100 ml of blood Glycosylated Hb (HbA1c) more than 6.5 to 11 Duration of illness Madhumeha not more than five years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Madhumehi with prameha pidaka (diabetic curbuncle) Patients of Type 1 diabetes mellitus Gestational diabetes Diabetes Mellitus produced due to diagnosed illnesses like acromegaly Cushing syndrome Patients taking other than Ayurvedic and Allopathic medication Other severe complications of diabetes mellitus like neurological complications cardiovascular complications Nephropathy etc

Reduction in Blood Glucose level of FBS,PPBS,Hba1C,Timepoint: Assessment of FBS and PPBS after every month, and HbA1C after 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Access in the reduction of Blood sugar level FBS PPBS & HbA1c, & access the importance of diebetic diet.Timepoint: 3 Months
