Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient in the age group of 18 to 60 years of either gender Patient undergoing craniotomy and excision of Supratentorial tumor ASA physical status I and III Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) 15

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient Refusal Psychiatric Disease Previous Cranial Surgery Allergy to Study Drugs Pregnancy and Lactation Opioid Abuse

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of mean arterial pressure at different time points between the two group.Timepoint: before induction, after induction and at the time of induction, 15 minute to end of surgery and before extubation and after extubation

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of the following parameters between two groups. Heart rate (HR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP), Pain score (NRS), Depth of anaesthesia (BIS), Intraoperative brain relaxation score- Post operative nausea & vomiting (PONV) Postoperative respiratory depression Patient satisfaction score Time to emergence from general anaesthesia Patient outcome using extended Glasgow outcome scale (E-GOS) at the time of discharge from the hospital. Timepoint: 24hrs to 48hrs
