Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Parents could be Both the father and mother of the adolescent who died by suicide who received a definite verdict of suicide. Those who speak Malayalam or English Those who are willing to take part in the study Siblings in this study are The oldest sibling of the adolescent who died by suicide With parental consent those who are Above 15 years of age Grandparents/second degree relatives Grandparents who lived with adolescent who died by suicide Any paternal/maternal uncles or aunts or cousins who were close to the adolescent, recognized by parents Above the age of 18 Significant others in this study are Neighbours/ family friends/Romantic partner or any other individuals who can give valuable data about the adolescent who died by suicide, Recognised by parents Above 18 years of age School Counsellor in this study means The mental health professional at the school who has personally known the adolescent who died by suicide. Health Professional in this study Either physician/mental health professional (psychiatrist, psychologist or psychiatric social workers) the adolescent approached for treatment and support In case of more than one professional, the most appropriate one will be considered based on the number of follow-up visits Teacher in this study Most preferably the person who was in charge of the class the adolescent studied Or any other teacher in the school who were close with the adolescent who recognized by peers/parents Police Officer in this study those who were In charge of the particular case to investigate or Part of the investigation team Key Informants are CDPO of Wayanad CWC executive members Mental health professional (psychiatrist, psychologist or psychiatric social workers) Medical officer Police official Tribal project officer of Wayanad district. Exclusion criteria: Those who have significant emotional or psychiatric /physical issues. those who do not speak english or malayalam those who are not willing to take part in study
