Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male Patients above the age of 18 years with diagnosis of chronic liver disease and/or its complications, who consent to participate in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients on medications known to elevate prolactin level such as neuroleptics, metoclopramide, methyldopa, reserpine, cyproterone acetate, morphine, cimetidine, metiamide History of chest wall trauma, Cranial surgery/ irradiation Pituitary or hypothalamic disease and seizure disorder. Patients in septic shock or severe sepsis. Chronic renal failure All female patients Patients who do not give consent
