Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of both genders between the age group of 25-65 years diagnosed with chronic periodontitis. 2.Patients having periodontal pockets with probing depth greater than 5mm to 7mm and radiographic evidence of horizontal bone loss. 3.Subjects with minimum of 20 tooth and having at least two periodontal pockets.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects suffering from any systemic diseases. 2. Subjects who had received any antibiotic therapy or any dental treatments in the past six months. 3. Pregnant and lactating women. 4. Subjects who are smokers and alcoholic.
