Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having clinical features of Vatarakta according to classics. Patients of any sex aged between 20 to 70 years irrespective of caste religion socioeconomic & educational status. Those patients of Vatarakta who are willing to participate in trial and ready to give written consent will be included. Patient having elevated serum uric acid level more than 6 mg/dl with symptoms of Vatarakta will be included. Patient who had not participated in any research work since last six months will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient of age less than 20 and more than 70 yrs. Chronicity of more than 10 yrs. Patient not willing for clinical trial. Patients of Vatarakta with uncontrolled hypertension (systolic BP more than 150mmHg and diastolic BP more than 90mmHg) and uncontrolled diabetes (Fasting more than 130gm/dl and Post mealmore than 200gm/dl) mellitus will be excluded. Pregnant women and lactating mothers will be excluded. Patients who are currently participating in other clinical trials (since last six months) will be excluded.Those who are on AKT, Anticancer therapy and any critical patients associated with systemic disorders will be excluded. Patients having any other inflammatory joint disorders like rheumatoid arthritis tubercular arthritis septic arthritis psoriatic arthritis Severe deformity and Ankylosing of the joints will be excluded.
