Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I & II Patients undergoing for below umbilicus operative interventions under spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients below 18 years and above 60 years of age. ASA III & IV Any spine abnormalities. Patient refusal. Allergy in Anaesthetic drug use in thesis. Uncontrolled Diabetes. Patients with coagulopathy. Cardiac and Neurological diseases. Failed/patchy block converted into General Anaesthesia not included in the study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
After completion of this study low dose infusion of Phenylephrine may prevent shivering & hypotension following spinal anaesthesiaTimepoint: In this study all parameters will be recorded till completion of operations

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Any adverse effect of the study drugTimepoint: At predetermined intervals intraoperatively & up to 48 hours post operatively
