Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients of Chronic abdominal pain due to chronic pancreatitis within 18- 75 years of age with normal amylase / lipase with no evidence of active inflammation on CT & with VAS score of more than 3.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with American Society of Anesthesia (ASA) levels IV and V. 2. Pregnancy 3. Patients with Bupivacaine hypersensitivity  4. Patients requiring surgery for chronic pancreatitis.

To compare the pain relief using Visual Analogue Score (VAS) among patients of Chronic pancreatitis receiving TAP blockTimepoint: 2 years
