Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) systemically healthy adult 25-50 years age group. 2)periodontal pockets greater than 3mm and less than 5mm deep. 2) Patients with chronic periodontitis 3) Patient willing to give the informed consent and willing to comply with the study were selected

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Systemic diseases- active cancer, photodermatoses, photoallergies, encephalitis, meningitis, hyper/ hypo thyroidism. 2) Pregnancy. 3) Smoking
