Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All type of acute tonsillitis. Patient who are willing to give consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age above 15 and below 5 not included. Patient taking any alternative treatment for the same complaint. Cases with other respiratory tract infection. Patient with pathological changes present in acute tonsillitis.

To understand the effectiveness of Ocimum sanctum in cases of acute tonsillitis. To study sign and symptoms of Ocimum sanctum related to tonsillitis. To assess the clinical utility of Brodsky Gradindg Scale.Timepoint: This will be achieved within 12 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
For the effective assessment and evaluation of disease intensity will also be maintained according to Brodsky Gradaing Scale.Timepoint: This will be achieved within 12 months.
