Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients between 18-80 years of group. 2)Patients will be selected irrespective of their sex,occupation,caste etc. 3)Patients complaining of disturbance in their bowel habits(patients passing stools in two days). 4)Patients with sign and symptoms of Vibandha and having all symptoms of constipation as per modern literature.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients below 18 and above 80 years of age. 2)Diabetic Patients 3)Patients suffering from obstruction due to constipation. 4)Patients suffering from serious ailments like tuberculosis, carcinoma of rectum and colon. 5)Patients were on medications known to causes constipation such as opioid analgesics, antidepressants,anticonvulsants. 6)Patients suffering from cardiovascular disease, renal failure and hypothyroidism. 7)Patients suffering from major psychiatric illness.
