Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants diagnosed as fissure in ano as per diagnostic criteria and by inspection and digital examination Participants having chronicity more than 8 weeks. Participants of age 18 -60 years Participants will be selected irrespective of gender religion caste and economic status Participants with informed consent will be selected

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants suffering from known case of malignancy and radiation induced ulcers Known case of HIV Veneral diseses hepatitis B and tuberculosis Known case of bleeding disorders anemia crohn’s disease ulcerative colitis Participants with uncontrolled diabetic mellitus . Participants with major cardiac illness.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
reduce post operative pain and burning sensation in chronic fissure in ano .Timepoint: 0th and every 7th day til wound heals

MeasureTime frame
improved cutting and healing effect of plain barbour’s surgical linen no 20 thread in chronic fissure in ano .Timepoint: 0th and every 7th day til wound heals
