Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with newly diagnosed CML above 18 years of either sex planned for imatinib therapy will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients less than 18 years of age, those having baseline hormonal dysfunction as determined by history and examination, patients planned for a second generation TKI like dasatinib or nilotinib and those not willing to participate in the study.
