Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Weight >50 kg 2.Haemoglobin.12.5gm/dl 3. Medically fit for blood donation as per DGHS Criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of haematophobia. 2.Adverse reaction in past blood donation. 3.Unable to cooperate for post follow up. 4 Blood Collection interruption due to any untoward reasons.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Incidence of blood spill using bevel up and bevel down method of phlebotomy. Timepoint: Donors will be assessed immediately after blood donation and again after 24 hours .—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Incidence of bruise using bevel up & bevel down method of phlebotomy. 2.Incidence of adverse effects using bevel up & bevel down method of phlebotomy. 3.Time required to collect 350 ml of whole blood using bevel up & bevel down method of phlebotomy. 4.patient pain scoreTimepoint: Follow up will be done after 24 hours after phlebotomy.—
