Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Chronic periapical infected and non infected teeth. 2. Distance between the bottom of the alveolar fossa and maxillary sinus floor greater than or equal to 2 mm and a distance between the bottom of the alveolar fossa and inferior alveolar canal greater than or equal to 3 mm
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute infection of adjacent teeth or tissues 2. Untreated teeth with chronic periodontitis 3. Systemic illness and contraindicating surgical procedure 4. Long-term use of bisphosphonates
