Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients having Primary sign and symptoms- with the duration of 7-10 days a) Oliguria (Salpamutra) b) Dysuria (Sasulamutra) c) Increased frequency (Muhurmuhu mutra) d) Burning micturition (Dahayukta mutra) e) Altered colour (Peeta and Sarakta) f) Scanty urination (Abila mutra) Secondary sign and symptoms- g) Fever h) Malaise i) Generalised illness
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) Age below 20 years or above 60 years. b) Pre-existing diabetes and other systemic disorder. c) History of trauma. d) Pregnancy and lactating mother. e) Malignancy. f) Prostatic hypertrophy. g) Sexually transmitted disease. h) Pyelonephritis and renal insufficiency. i) Urethral discharge. j) Catheterised patients. k) Nephrotic syndrome
