Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 65 years, who are scheduled for elective thoracic surgeries requiring one lung ventilation (OLV) with American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I to III with no known allergies or contraindications to the materials used for thermal softening. Patients giving written informed consent will be taken
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Emergency surgeries or surgeries requiring rapid sequence induction. Patients with a history of difficult airway management or anticipated difficult intubation. Known pre-existing throat conditions or chronic sore throat. History of previous thoracic surgeries. Severe pulmonary or cardiovascular diseases that may affect the ability to tolerate one lung ventilation. Known coagulation disorders or use of anticoagulant medications that may increase the risk of bleeding during intubation. Pregnancy or breastfeeding. Participation in another interventional study within the last 30 days. Patient shifted to mechanical ventilation
