Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Singleton gestation Primigravida Cephalic presentation Intact membranes Obstetric indication for labor induction Gestational age MORE THAN 37 completed weeks TO 42 weeks Bishops score less than 6

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: IUFD (intrauterine fetal death) Preterm PROM PET (pre-eclamptic toxemia) Multiple Gestation Suspected chorioamnionitis Placenta previa or unexplained vaginal bleeding Previous c section or other type of uterine surgery Cephalopelvic disproportion Maternal medical disorders IUGR Fetal distress Malpresentation and Malposition Antepartum Hemorrhage Known allergy to prostaglandins Not giving consent
