Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Time taken from the start of administration of suggamadex or neostigmine to recovery of TOF ratio to 0.9 will be recorded in patients undergoing rocuronium induced neuromuscular blockade.Timepoint: This will be checked at every 15 seconds for the first 3 minutes, every 30 seconds (3-5 minutes) and at every minute after 5 minutes of administration of reversal agent. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1)Clinical tests of postoperative neuromuscular recovery will be assessed by recording tof while patient does sustained headlift and sustained handgrip for 5 seconds post extubation 2)Patients will be monitored for side effects like cough, hypotension, bradycardia, nausea, vomiting, excess salivation post surgery.Timepoint: comparison of the efficacy between both the drugs can be demonstrated by detecting residual neuromuscular blockade post surgery and reduced risk of side effects | — |
