Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female, aged = 60 years, reporting a loss of physical function over the last 6-12 months & meet the diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia based on the Asian Sarcopenia Working Group Guidelines 2019. 2. Men or women who are 60 years old or older consulting OPDs of the departments of Neurology, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopedics, Physical medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine, regardless of initial reason for the consultation. 3. Ability to sign informed consent form. 4. Willingness to comply with all study procedures and availability for the duration of the study. 5. Ability to take oral Ayurveda medication and be willing to adhere to the study intervention regimen. 6. Agreement to adhere to other lifestyle advice as advised throughout the study duration. 7. Be able to cooperate with the completion of body composition analysis, grip strength measurement, 6 m walking time measurement, and questionnaires; 8. Able to walk independently, with or without assistive devices 9. Able to safely complete the exercise recommended by physicians
