Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria 1)Age group between 18-60 years 2)Patients of both sex male and female. 3)ASA grade I & II. 4) Patient undergoing Surgery under General Anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria 1 Patient refusal. 2 Patients with ASA grade III, IV or higher. 3 Patient on anti hypertensive and hypoglycaemics. 4 Patient with asthmatic disease. 5 Patient already on melatonin or clonidine.

To evaluate the efficacy, haemodynamic stability in laryngoscopy and intubation following oral pre medication with melatonin and clonidine.Timepoint: 180min
