Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patient willing to sign the written & informed consent. 2 Patients posted for elective surgeries. 3 Patients willing to fill out the questionnaire. 4 Patients belonging to American Society of anaesthesiologists grade I, I and III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Patients posted for emergency surgeries

This prospective, observational study will help us to assess the patient knowledge and awareness regarding anaesthesia and the roles of an anaesthesiologist amongst general population.Timepoint: At the time of pre anaesthetic check up of patients posted for elective surgery.

This prospective, observational study will help patients be more involved & take better decisions for their prospective surgical treatments.Timepoint: At the time of pre anaesthetic check up of patients posted for elective surgery.
