Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Systemically healthy patients. 2.Presence of a probing pocket depth 5 mm with clinical attachment loss 5 mm around more than one surface of each tooth in the anterior quadrant. 3.Radiographic evidence of horizontal bone loss. 4.No recession on the palatal side.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients who underwent periodontal therapy within 1 year. • Patients with aggressive periodontitis. • Teeth indicated for extraction. • Patients having the habit of consuming tobacco in any form. • Pregnant and lactating women. • Patients on any drug therapy that may affect the outcome of the present study.
