Intervention1: Vitamin-C kid Syrup: 40 mg/kg Body Weight Once daily Administered orally or through Ryles tube upto 7 days Control Intervention1: Control Group: Without Vitamin C Supplementation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: gestational age less than 37 weeks birth weight less than 2.5 kg stable babies on oral or NG tube feeds

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: congenital ,chromosomal anomalies. critically sick babies known inborn errors of metabolism.
