Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age: 3-12 years 2)Sex: Both male and female children 3)Dysentery (Frequent passage of Loose stools with Blood and Mucus) 4)Children having an episode of at least 5 times passage of loose stools within 24 hours. 5)Normal or Mild Malnourished status. 6)Fever 7)Vomiting 8)Abdominal pain 9)Headache

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Children younger than 3 years or older than 12 years. 2)Chronic Gastrointestinal diseases or other chronic illness (Ulcerative Colitis, Celiac disease, Malena) 3)Signs of severe dehydration which requires immediate hospitalization. 4)Parents or Guardians unwilling for the study
