Intervention1: BOUGIE IS USED AS AN ADJUNCT FOR ENDOTRACHEAL INTUBATION WITH NON CHANNELED MACINTOSH BLADE VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPE: INTUBATION WILL BE ATTEMPTED WITH VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPY WITH BOUGIE USED AS

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) patients between the age 18-65 requiring endotracheal intubation for administering general anesthesiaafter taking informed consent 2) patient with class 1 and 2 of American Society of Anesthesiologist grading

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with known predictors of difficult intubation 2) Limited oral opening (inter-incisor distance 3) Limited cervical extension ( 4) Short thyromental distance ( 5)Mallampati Class III or IV) 6)Previous diagnosis of difficult Intubation 7) Pregnancy 8) Emergency surgery requiring rapid sequence induction 9) Severe obesity (body mass index (BMI) – more than or equal to 40
