Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients (age 18 or above) scheduled for ABG analysis for any indication. 2. Patients who are either alert or verbally responsive (a score of either A or V on the AVPU scale).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known hearing impairments. 2. Emergency cases requiring immediate ABG without the possibility of consent. 3. Patients declining consent.
