Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with blunt abdominal trauma who require inpatient admission for non-operative management

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Penetrating abdominal trauma 2. Patients on antiplatelet or anticoagulant agents 3. Patients who will be hemodynamically unstable necessitating immediate operative intervention 4. Hemoglobin less than 7g/dl and Hematocrit less than 20 at admission 5. Patients having active contrast extravasation in CECT 6. Pregnancy 7. Patients requiring any operative intervention for associated injuries in first 72 hours 8. GCS 9. Associated pancreatic injury
