Intervention1: TABLET VITAMIN C: Patients given Tab. Vitamin C 500mg per oral twice daily after food for 4 weeks Control Intervention1: PLACEBO: Patient receives Tab. Placebo twice daily for 4 weeks

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients between 18 years and 80 years with pulmonary artery pressure with mean pulmonary artery pressure of more than 20mmHg measured by right heart catheterisation or right ventricular systolic pressure of more than 40mmHg with right atrial pressure measured with echocardiography with valvular heart disease planned for valve replacement surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, Poorly controlled Diabetes mellitus, inherited blood disorders (Thalassemia, G6PD deficiency, Emergency surgeries and presence of RVOT obstruction
