Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients irrespective of gender, religion, occupation and economic status. 2. Patients with Fissure-in-Ano having local symptoms like pain, burning, itching, ulcer will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women. 2. Patients having known allergies to trial drug. 3. Clinically immuno compromised patients. 4. Patients having anaemia. 5. Patients associated with ulcerative colitis, syphilis, crohns disease, tuberculosis, uncontrolled diabetes and carcinoma of rectum and anal canal.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Reduction in pain and burning sensation-100% cure is expected. 2. Reduction in bleeding-100% cure is expected.Timepoint: On baseline, 7th, 14th, 21st days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. 100% reduction in swelling. 2. 100% fissure healing.Timepoint: On baseline, 7th, 14th, 21st days
