Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presence of bilateral bone loss. probing pocket depth greater than 5mm. Absence of periapical pathology.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating women. Patients with any systemic diseases or under antibiotic s in the past 6 months. Patients using tobacco in any form. Patients with poor oral hygiene. Patients that underwent nonsurgical periodontal therapy in the past 6 months or surgical periodontal therapy in the past 12 months.
