Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Participants of age group 2 years to 16 years will be included irrespective of religion, gender and socio-economic status. 2.Participants diagnosed with Lakshana of kustha will be included for the study. 3.Participants having the clinical features of acute & sub acute atopic dermatitis will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Participants below the age of 2 years and above the age of 16 years will be excluded. 2.Chronic atopic dermatitis(more than 1 year) will be excluded. 3.Atopic dermatitis associated with secondary bacterial infection. 4.Child presenting any other associated systemic symptoms like diarrhoea, acute respiratory infection and acute febrile conditions will be excluded. 5.Participant having cracked skin will be excluded for the local application of Gandhaka Malahara.

To find out changes in symptoms of Kustha(Atopic dermatitis) by recording them before and after administration of treatment.Timepoint: Baseline 2weeks (during treatment) and 4weeks(after treatment)
