Inclusion criteria: All patients with clinical diagnosis of abdominal trauma

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with head and spinal injury Known case of pancreatitis. Patients below 18 years age.

Correlation of changes in level of serum amylase, C-reactive protein and procalcitonin with severity in abdominal trauma.Timepoint: Serum amylase,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin level in abdominal trauma patients on day-0, day-1, day-3 and day-5.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in level of serum amylase, C-reactive protein and procalcitonin at the time of admission will be compared to clinical outcomes in terms of- -Hospital stay. -ICU admission rate. -Operative and non-operative. -Hospital associated complications. -Immobilization related complications.Timepoint: Serum amylase,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin level in abdominal trauma patients on day-0, day-1, day-3 and day-5.
