Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 All cases of mild to moderate UC (more than 18 years of age). 2 Only those cases that consented to the study with signing an informed consent letter. 3 All cases who had a normal renal and cardiac profile.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 All severe cases of UC. 2 Those who did not consent to the study. 3 All cases of active or chronic renal disease. 4 Cardiological unstable patients. 5 All patients with altered liver enzymes. 6 cases with active or latent tuberculosis
