Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)A mother who is breastfeeding from childbirth up to six months has a low frequency of breastfeeding, which is less than 4-5 times per day. 2)Lactating women with history of stanyakshaya lakshana 3)Mother who had difficulties with breastfeeding in the past due to low milk supply. 4)Subjects irrespective of primigravida or multigravida

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Mother with congenital abnormalities, breast atrophy 2)Mother with DM (Diabetes Mellitus) 3)Female with hormonal imbalance eg. Hypo/hyperthyroidism, PCOD/PCOS 4)Mother with local breast issues like Sore/crack nipple/ mastitis 5)Patients with history of alcoholism 6)Patient with adequate lactation naturally. 7)Patient who previously taken medicine for milk suppression 8)Metabolic Disorder like Galactosemia & postpartum psychosis 9)Mothers infected with HIV or Hepatitis B have a chance of transmitting the infection up to 25%. 10)Also the Ayurveda text reference of stanapana varjit awastha 11)Mother on medications which get excreted through breast milk
