Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status 1-2 patients, aged 18-60 years, with obesity (BMI more than 25 Kg per m2)or COPD, requiring GA administration for non-cardiac surgery, will be included in the pilot study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with heart disease, 2. Known endocrine abnormality, 3. Patients with a documented reduced ejection fraction, 4. Anticipated difficult airway, 5. American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status �3, 6. Patients on ACE inhibitors, 7. Preoperative autonomic neuropathy, and, 8. Patients with insignificant tricuspid regurgitation (TR) jet, will be excluded.
