Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of age group of 18-40 year irrespective of gender, religion, occupation. Patient willing to participate in trial selected for study. Patient representing sign and symptoms of Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. Patient giving written consent will be selected. Patient having Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation because of acne will be selected. Patient having Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation immediately after acne will be selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with skin sensitivity problem, systemic or endocrinal disease, hormonal imbalance, other contagious infectious diseases like hepatitis B and C, HIV. Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation due to wound, impetigo, atopic dermatitis. Patient who were not willing to participate Patient with burn, wound, scar. Patient who keep poor follow up.

MeasureTime frame
To study physicochemical, phytochemical analysis of Jatipatra churna and Jatiphala churna. To study role of Jatipatradi lepa in Durvyanga with special reference to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Timepoint: 45 days

Literary review of Jatipatra & Jatiphala according to ayurveda. To prepare Jatipatra churna & Jatiphala churna. Phytochemical & physicochemical study of Jatipatra churna & Jatiphala churna. Clinical study of Jatipatradi Lepa & its role in Durvyanga with special reference to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.Timepoint: 18 months
