Inclusion criteria: Clinical symptoms along with- 1) Clinically and / or radiologically significant elongation of styloid process 2) Calcified stylohyoid ligament

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients allergic to local anesthetics 2)Systemic co-morbities — coronary vascular and cerebrovascular diseases 3)Malignancies 4)Dental malocclusion 5)Patients not responding to medical management 6)Patients not willing to participate in the study
