Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients aged18 years and older scheduled for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia 2.Asa 1 and 2 patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Illiterate,know psychiatric disease,thyroid dysfunction,diabetes mellitus,history of previous anaesthesia/surgery exposure,patients on sympathomimetics,anti hypertensives,anxiolytics,patients with neurological disorders

Patient satisfaction,Anxiety scoreTimepoint: patient satisfaction will be measured post operatively on the day of surgery Anxiety score will be measured immediate preoperative on the day of surgery

Patient level of understanding & anaesthetic concerns,hemodynamic parametersTimepoint: Patient level of understanding &anaesthetic concerns will be measured during pre anasthetic evaluation one day prior to surgery Hemodynamic parameters will be measured once during pre anasthetic evaluation one day prior to surgery & immediate perioperative period on the day of surgery
