Intervention1: timolol: topical application of timolol eye drops 0.5% on ulcer 1 drop per square cm area of ulcer on every alternate day dressing. total duration of 4 weeks or 28 days

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: age more than 18 years both sexes with confirmed diagnosis of diabetes mellitus with diabetic ulcer of more than 6 weeks duration with surface area more than 0.5cm2 giving consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ulcer of non diabetic etiology or ulcer with signs of infection like cellulitis or gangrene or purulent exudate or immunocompromised patients or severe protein malnutrition or chronic renal failure or known cardiac patients or known active malignancy or pregnant or lactating patients and patients not giving consent to participate in study
