Intervention1: Variable resistance training: Squat, Romanian deadlift, calf raise and lunges ,Rows ,Overhead press, and bench press these are done using chains and bands along with plyometric training

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects of university-level male field hockey players 2. Age group 18-21 years 3. Players who have participated in the past 1 year at a competitive level

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with no pre-existing health conditions. 2. Participants involved in similar resistance training. 3. recent injuries 4. recent fractures
